臺灣科大簡介

國立台灣工業技術學院成立於民國六十三年八月一日，自民國八十六年改名為國立台灣科技大學，為我國第一所技術職業教育高等學府。建校之目的，在因應我國經濟與工業迅速發展之需求，以培養高級工程技術及管理人才為目標，同時建立完整之技術職業教育體系。

 

About Taiwan Tech

The National Taiwan University of Science and Technology was established on August 1, 1974, as the first higher education institution of its kind within our nation’s technical and vocational education system. By extending this system to the highest level, this new school was intended to meet the need created by our rapid economic and industrial development for highly trained engineers and managers. 

 

應外系簡介

本系於 1998 年成立，目前設有碩士班、大學部四年制、二年制，碩士在職專班及二年制在職班等五種學制。本系教育目標為：(1) 培養英語教學人才、(2) 培養口筆譯人才、(3) 培養專業英語人才。

 

About AFL Dept.

The NTUST Department of Applied Foreign Languages (AFL), established in 1998, currently offers four degree programs—a four-year Bachelor’s degree program, a two-year Bachelor’s program (open to students holding an A.A., or equivalent), a night school Bachelor’s program for working adults, and a Master’s degree program. Our objectives are (1)  Cultivating specialists in English Teaching. (2) Cultivating specialists in translation & interpretation. and (3) Cultivating specialists in ESP.
